Methods & Tools

Our main tools supporting our business processes are developed within the company and are fully transparent for all staff at all times. They are based upon years of experience of managing sales teams in organic growth situations. All tools are designed and continuously improved in line with our core methods for fast introduction of new staff, new suppliers and new technologies. There are built-in-strategies in all tools for improvement of hit rates and sales efficiency, as well as for follow-up of key figures and planning. All internal and external reporting is automatically extracted from these tools.

M2000

M2000 is our in-house developed customer relationship management (CRM) system and our corporate memory. All customer contacts and actions are continuously logged into the system, subsequently automating all internal reporting. The system is structured to generate follow-ups so that leads can result in quotations and ultimately orders. All necessary statistics are automatically generate by the system, such as for benchmarking, trend follow-ups and deviations from plans and budgets

KCM

The key client matrix (KCM) is a tool for managing the budgeting of sales visits by sales representatives and key clients, as well as budgeting of visits to the suppliers with key clients. The system enables monitoring of sales potential and the status of relationships concerning the key clients of each supplier as well as for Thurne Teknik in general. The matrix also describes the present investment environment and potential of each key client. All sales budget figures and action plans are put into this matrix. The KCM is the basis for our customer care activities complying with our sales processes, prioritizations and coaching tools for management. All plans and budgets are discussed in monthly personal coaching meetings with the appropriate sales engineers.


Business Plan

Our business plan is a description of our course for the coming five years of operation and is revised every third year. The yearly action plans are in the KCM as along with all yearly budgets.

QM

Our quality manual (QM) provides a description of our processes, methods, tools and organization, showing how we should work to reach the planned objectives of our business plan. The quality manual is continuously revised and is used as a creative document for improvement.
